What I find most interesting in the output of AI art programs is its surreal, dreamlike aspect. Images that seem drawn from the subconscious, eager to tell us a story we cannot really comprehend. I do not wish for it to replace the work of human artists, and heartily approve of policies to restrict paid work for corporations to human endeavours only. Which doesn't mean people can't use it in other contexts—the header images for this website were produced by AI. I hope if you look at the images I've gathered in these galleries, you will be encouraged to dream up meanings for them, and perhaps inspired to craft stories.
